The campground is opening May 1st for the season!
The campground is a first come, first served campground. There are 14 camping locations with water and electric hookup. It costs $25 a night to camp. There is a sewer dumping station that is located by the City Park entrance. If you are using a vehicle to 'hold' your camping spot, you will be charged a night of camping for holding your spot.
Adams Park Campground payment information: There is a mailbox attached to the information board that holds payment envelopes. Payment is based on the honor system. On the envelope, mark the number of nights stayed. Cost is $25.00 per night. Put the envelope with your payment into one of the payment boxes attached to either the information board or the bathroom/showering facility.
The City of Adams completed a project in the Adams City Park in 2022. The project included a new showering and bathroom facility, the addition of 7 campsites and other improvements which brought the park into compliance with ADA standards. To fund this project the City of Adams applied for and was awarded a $75,100.00 FY22 Outdoor Recreation Grant through the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, which the City of Adams matched dollar for dollar.
